Southern Maryland News is looking for a general assignment reporter.
The position is a critical part of the Southern Maryland News newsroom. We want someone who can go beyond meetings to find stories the community needs to know. The ideal reporter has experience in newsrooms and has a knack for creative stories – both news and features. You’ll take your own photos for stories.
You will be covering primarily Charles County, Maryland.
