Job Description

Supports Global Head of Media Relations, General Insurance in executing proactive press strategies that advance AIG’s reputation with clients, regulators, distribution partners, employees, and the general public.
Develops proactive media campaigns in support of business goals.
Responds effectively to crisis and issues management issues in the media.
Helps oversee and provide counsel on media efforts and crisis/issues management issues to team of global media relations professionals. Supports oversight of global media efforts by country and regional marketing communications.
Provides counsel to marketing communications and other groups on potential and existing reputational matters.
Helps vet speaking engagement opportunities across the global business.
Helps develop and maintain relationships with media.
Supports all media reporting efforts to General Insurance leadership. Conducts extensive research for opportunities for positive press coverage and competitive analysis.
