As part of ALM’s global newsroom, the Regulatory Desk is focused on emerging legal and compliance issues, state and federal regulatory trends, key lawyers and judges making news and the revolving door in Washington and beyond. Reporters on the desk keep close tabs on white-collar enforcement, financial services and banking, the cannabis industry, whistleblowers, U.S. Supreme Court cases and more. The Regulatory Desk collaborates closely with other teams of reporters on the Business of Law, Litigation, Culture and In-house desks. The senior editor on the desk is based in Washington, D.C.
