Reporter- Biofuels

Argus Media is seeking a market reporter to join its Biofuels team. The ideal candidate is innately curious and personable, able to quickly become a subject matter expert and lead coverage within a designated product portfolio, which could include biodiesel, ethanol, renewable diesel, renewable feedstocks, and RIN credits. The applicant must have an interest in energy, policy and economics, enjoy people and building relationships, and have a comfort with excel. Experience covering commodities or energy/environmental policy is ideal. In this role, you will monitor and assess markets to produce news, price assessments, market commentaries and reports. You will analyze data to create insights into biofuels trade. In addition, you will develop and maintain rapport with key contacts and liaising regularly with biofuel industry stakeholders (buyers, sellers, traders, distributors) to gain market intelligence. You will work with and interview subject matter experts, researching industry trends and assessing the worthiness of potential topics.
