The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University is seeking an experienced video production professional to serve as the supervising producer of Cronkite News, the award-winning student-staffed, faculty-led news division of Arizona PBS, leading students in the production of its daily newscast and other video content across platforms. With the appointment rank based on experience, the successful candidate will be a journalist of the highest caliber with strong broadcast news experience and an innovative thinker who is comfortable in a highly energized news environment. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, fairness and collaboration. The ideal candidate also must have the skills to inspire, support and instruct a team of student journalists and deliver clear direction and feedback. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, 12-month appointment on ASU's downtown Phoenix campus. This position does not include teaching traditional classes. Leading students in producing daily news content for Cronkite News is the full-time teaching assignment. This is not a tenure-track appointment.
