Project Editor

The client is an award-winning media agency that specialises in creating multi-channel content for consumer and trade audiences. Based in Central London they boast over 100 employees and for the past 26 years have focused on travel and lifestyle content for the consumer and trade industries. They are now looking to hire a replacement Project Editor to sit across the paid content team.

Working as part of team of 4, you will be responsible for managing editorial and commercial content across an entire portfolio, with main focus, working within the branded content division for a well-known travel magazine.

Your role will involve managing, commissioning, writing, SEO, editing, overseeing flatplans, fact-checking and proofing work. The ideal candidate will be a skilled mid-level editor with project management experience who's capable of working across print and online formats and is driven by producing excellent client-led content and campaigns.

This is a full time permanent opportunity paying up to 40k basis salary plus also offers hybrid working - 3 days in office, 2 days WFH

Responsibilities

Working as part of a Paid Content team creating campaigns for well know travel magazine
Work with print, digital and potentially video content (and potentially other media).
Liaise with clients to ensure the smooth running of their campaign.
Work closely with writers and team members to ensure all materials adhere to the project brief and meet the company's high standards and style guidelines. *
Collaborate with all departments, including sales, accounts, sub editors and production.
Work as part of a growing team, reporting to the Branded Content Manager and their deputy.

The Person

A minimum of 4 years working for a publishing house or media agency
The role will require strong creative ideas and editing skills
The ability to manage a project - and client relations
Proven experience working with print, digital and potentially video content.
Proficient on a Mac and with InDesign and MS Office
Be familiar with CMS and project management software including Asana.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
