Assistant Editor

Ocean Media, publisher of Ocean magazine and the Great Southern Route Superyacht Guide as well as several yachting news websites, digital newsletters and social pages, is seeking a full-time Assistant Editor/Content Creator to work in their Rozelle Bay, Sydney office. This is an exceptional position for someone interested in learning about the broader yachting and marine industry, who has formal journalism qualifications and can work across editorial, production, online and social media. You will be part of a tight local and international team in a fast-moving, dedicated office where your experience in a deadline-driven environment such as a newsroom or magazine can be relied upon. With the opportunity to travel to boat shows and meet and interview clients and industry leaders, you will need to be comfortable working with people of all levels. Ideally, you will have two to three years of experience in print, digital and social media, and are looking for a role that allows you to progress your career.
