The Caroline Jones Scholarship is set up to mark the extraordinary work of one of the ABC’s finest journalists and broadcasters. It aims to provide the opportunity for a passionate and talented Indigenous person who is aspiring to be a journalist. The successful candidate will be able to explore the art of multiplatform storytelling for ABC news and current affairs programs, bringing with them a wealth of experiences and different perspectives.
The Caroline Jones Scholarship is a 12-month cadet program which includes:
Workplace training with ABC News, gaining multiplatform storytelling skills
Work placements with specialist News and/or regional teams
Specialised mentoring and training personalised to your professional development needs.
