Our Specialist Reporting Team is looking for a highly skilled journalist to report on consumer affairs. The role will be responsible for leading and generating national stories relevant to a broad and diverse audience, and actively engaging with diverse communities in Australia's outer suburbs. Reporting to the Editor, Specialist Reporting Team, the position will include;
Researching, writing, producing and presenting accurate, concise and clear consumer affairs stories of a complex nature at a highly advanced level for radio, TV, digital, social, and on-demand.
Developing and maintaining an excellent contact base to generate compelling and original stories.
Researching, identifying suitable sources and arranging and conducting interviews to support your own and others’ stories.
Presenting live-reports and participating in live Q&As of a complex nature with flair to optimise audience engagement.
