Automotive News, a growing and dynamic news organization owned by Crain Communications Inc., is seeking a talented staff reporter to cover the fast-changing world of automotive retailing with a strong emphasis on online selling and the technology used by car dealerships. This full-time reporter plays a key role on an elite reporting team that provides exclusive and in-depth coverage of a significant portion of U.S. economic activity. The position will offer excellent pay and benefits. Applicants should demonstrate a proven track record covering business news for a quality news organization. Automotive and/or retailing beat experience is a major plus but not mandatory. This position reports to the newsroom in Detroit, but remote work is possible and negotiable.
