GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled remote Technical Writer to join a pioneering project at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This role is central to a team working on an innovative AWS-based cloud project, aimed at enhancing NOAA's weather prediction and environmental monitoring capabilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with NOAA's cloud team to document AWS-based cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation that aligns with AWS best practices and NOAA's specific project requirements.
Engage with cloud engineers and subject-matter experts to understand and document complex cloud architectures and solutions.
Create and maintain AWS-specific technical guides, API documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
Research and implement innovative documentation strategies to improve the accessibility and usability of cloud-related content.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, environments, and tools.
Proven ability to translate technical cloud concepts into user-friendly documentation.
Excellent research, writing, and editing skills, with a focus on technical accuracy and clarity.
Experience with content management systems and documentation tools suited for cloud-based environments.
Ability to work collaboratively with cloud engineers, developers, and other stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years of technical writing experience, preferably with a focus on cloud computing and AWS technologies.
Familiarity with the principles of cloud architecture, data storage, and cybersecurity in the context of AWS.
