Senior Editor, Integrated Marketing

Red Ventures is looking for a Senior Editor who will be responsible for helping to create and manage marketing content for a variety of Bankrate clients. From creating and scaling co-branded and sponsored content programs to nurturing brand licensing opportunities, this position will leverage advanced editorial expertise, strong research acumen and seasoned client relationship-building skills to create compelling and effective marketing content for our partners.

The ideal candidate is a skilled editor with excellent leadership, project management and communication skills and has experience in crafting and editing co-branded content to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement for both Bankrate and its partners.
What You’ll Do

Help guide the end-to-end production of our consumer-facing, co-branded content
Manage internal writers and freelancers
Create content that appears on Bankrate.com, in newsletters and on other channels
Be an ambassador and subject matter expert to third-party clients and partners to nurture relationships and develop successful content plans
Meet our high standards for editorial integrity, accuracy and legal compliance
Leverage SEO insights to inform content strategy and direction
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to strategize and execute successful co-branded campaigns
Schedule and lead one-to-one employee meetings
Provide regular stakeholder updates on content production, performance and key highlights

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of editing experience with consumer-driven, co-branded content
A highly accountable operator who is process-oriented and able to update stakeholders on content production progress
Excellent research, writing and editing skills, with the ability to edit and rewrite quickly as needed
A customer-service mindset with client-facing and/or partner-facing experience
Flexibility to meet and exceed varying partner deadlines
A key understanding of both audience and partner needs — and experience in bringing them to life within content
Experience in working with Compliance and Legal teams on content reviews and approvals to mitigate risk to Bankrate and its partners
Experience creating or editing content informed by SEO concepts and best practices
Familiarity and experience with Google’s ever-evolving search landscape, including a working knowledge of EEAT and other considerations
Experience with editing and writing personal finance and related content. Alternatively, bylines at top publications with a strong interest in the personal finance space
The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders within the wider organization
Comfortability delivering and receiving feedback with a willingness to coach and develop
Ability to adapt and organize resources accordingly and reprioritize when necessary
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
General understanding of measuring content performance with analytics tools

Compensation

Cash Compensation Range: $75,000 - 144,000*
*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
