Barron’s is seeking an energetic and motivated journalist to cover the markets and provide insightful analysis about what is driving stocks.
This is a job that is core to our rapidly expanding newsroom, and we are seeking a writer who has a passion for covering stocks and loves being in the center of the news. This person should be able to quickly identify what is moving markets each day, push back against the dominant narratives when warranted and offer perspective on moves in sectors and stocks as well as what they say about the current financial environment.
The successful candidate should be able to deliver clear, lively writing on deadline and be able to explain to readers what market developments mean for their portfolios. At key moments, this person may be asked to step back from daily analysis to write broader columns or enterprise stories that help readers understand big market trends.
Barron’s strongly values teamwork, so the ability to collaborate with reporters, editors, and our visual journalists is a must.
Interested parties should send a resume and cover letter to David.Cho@barrons.com and Bob.Rose@barrons.com and apply through the link on this job posting.
