Journalist, WATO PM

The World at One and PM department is looking for a creative, energetic and resourceful journalist to join the dynamic team that makes The World at One, PM, Broadcasting House and The World this Weekend . We are looking for someone who thinks independently, is full of distinctive ideas for stories and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working towards both WATO and PM is demanding and satisfying. It is a unique opportunity to work across four very different programmes with their own distinct styles. As a journalist on the team you’ll work to output editors and with presenters. You will be responsible for producing whole sequences for broadcast, finding and briefing interviews for broadcast, making packages and casting discussions. You will be expected to contribute ideas and analysis that produce creative, intelligent and engaging radio.
