Journalist (Multi-Media) Radio Bristol

New Posted 19 August 2022 | Bristol, England, United Kingdom | BBC News

BBC Radio Bristol’s multi-media reporters create ambitious social and digital content on a vast range of subjects: from the viral videos of the statue of Edward Colston being thrown into the city’s harbour, to live streamed Virtual Days Out during the height of the pandemic lockdown, to spotting the very best news and user-generated content opportunities, as well as finding new digital audiences for our audio and radio. We serve the vibrant and exciting cities of Bristol and Bath as well as the surrounding rural areas and the seaside towns of North Somerset – it’s a patch with everything to offer and a team which is always pursuing the best creative opportunities. We are looking for a creative and ambitious content producer. You’ll help to manage our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as serving BBC platforms. You’ll spend most of your time producing and creating video and visualised content. We work in a truly multi-media way so you’ll also be turning many of your stories into radio and often re-versioning your videos for TV too. You’ll be part of a small but highly committed team who are proud to punch above their weight. In return for your commitment, energy and endless ideas you’ll get lots of freedom to be creative and to try new things.
