The Bismarck Tribune has an immediate opening for a multimedia sports journalist. The ideal candidate will be adept at covering a wide range of events and meeting tight deadlines.
The Tribune’s award-winning sports department covers six local high schools and three colleges, along with auto racing, junior hockey, a Northwoods League baseball team and rodeo. We also cover numerous regional high schools. Candidates need to be digital savvy. The job involves writing for print and digital products, producing video and doing desk work. We’re looking for reporters who can find compelling features that go beyond the score of the game.
