2024 START Reporter

News Start is a 12-month training program. Rotating through different news desks at Bloomberg Industry Group, Start reporters learn about the different markets and cover the range of stories a typical Bloomberg Industry Group reporter would cover. Over the course of the program, the news leadership team will evaluate performance and readiness to move into a full-time reporting position.

Job Requirements:

Ability to report and write news stories and features under deadline.
Working knowledge of journalism principles and techniques.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to use Bloomberg Industry Group publishing tools and other technology effectively with Bloomberg Industry Group training.
Excellent proofreading skills.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in journalism, including internships, campus media and part-time work.

Special Requirements:

This is a one year assignment.
Candidates may be required to pass a test for this position.
