Bloomberg Media seeks a Motion Graphics Producer to help evolve and contribute to the visual style of our Quicktake Originals through the use of thoughtful and dynamic motion graphics. We’re looking for a strong, visual storyteller; someone who has a passion for journalism and a sharp curiosity for all things business, politics, technology, culture and lifestyle. You will be a nimble and organized designer, a strong communicator, and most importantly - a reliable team player. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for designing, illustrating, and animating motion graphics elements for our non-fiction video properties, end-to-end; from initial storyboards to final animation. Projects will include short-form explainers, long-form docu-series, studio talk shows and even experimental, non-linear storytelling experiences. A keen understanding of editorial design, especially data visualization is important. You will also be in charge of creating, deploying, and troubleshooting design templates assets across our worldwide team of producers. You will work across editorial pillars to push the boundaries of our visual design and presence on every platform our videos are published. Experience with multi-platform design is a must; TV, Youtube, OTT, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, vertical, horizontal - you will be able to assess, design for, and pivot to the strength of any particular format.
