THE OPPORTUNITY
What you’ll be working on
As a Enterprise Content Writer and Producer, you will plan and develop content to support enterprise, brand, and business objectives. In this role you will be stepping in to cover two parental leaves with a wide variety of responsibilities, including content strategy, writing, video production, managing projects, and managing team priorities. You will work closely with peers across the company to align on content themes and own production of content from ideation to distribution. This job requires someone who can both think creatively and write for a B2B and B2C brand audience, while also managing their own priorities and priorities for the team tightly.
You are
A creative team-player who has the ability to identify interesting angles for content in all formats. Must be organized and collaborative and able to adapt to change. You are strategic and also tactical – someone who wants to lead with ideas and also roll up your sleeves to get the work done quickly and effectively.
You have
Excellent writing and editing skills
8+ years of experience in content creation
Experience using project management software and managing projects and/or team priorities
Knowledge of creating content for different channels and audiences
Storytelling instincts and video storyboarding/conceptualizing experience
Organization skills and can be held accountable for your own deadlines
A positive attitude and flexibility in a team where things often change and continuously develop
Technical abilities to pick up new tech quickly
Backed up by a portfolio or work samples
You will
Create content across Guardian’s content ecosystem
Drive content throughout the review cycle including partnering with SME and compliance counterparts to ensure team meets deadlines
Coordinate content across businesses and internally on our team to promote effectively in social media, email, web, etc.
Ideate on and track the team’s main content themes
Represent content team on integrated marketing projects, collaborating with teams across the company to deliver brand content
Review content for brand tone and consistency
Manage team’s workload in workflow software
Lead weekly team meetings
Join 1:1s with teams to discuss weekly priorities
