SureCo is looking for a Senior Editor to join our dynamic marketing team and play a crucial role in transforming healthcare for working Americans. As a leading healthcare and insurance technology company, we are dedicated to shaping the future of the industry. Responsibilities

Develop and manage editorial calendar aligned with business objectives.
Use empathy to unlock key messaging and content strategy for our target audience (primarily Benefits Consultants/Brokers and HR Professionals).
Write and/or edit long- and short-form content designed to drive engagement and push prospects deeper into our sales funnel.
Assist with amplification and content delivery (i.e., identifying appropriate channels for distribution, managing email workflows, etc.).
Identify and build relationships with subject matter experts (executive leadership, compliance managers, sales directors, customers, etc.), leveraging them as storytellers.
Develop downloadable guides related to employee health benefits, insurance technology, and relevant topics. These guides will provide valuable insights and resources to our target audience.
Produce a minimum of 2 high-quality blog posts per week that not only captivate but also educate our readers on current and emerging topics in the industry.
Ghostwrite regular thought leadership articles. By collaborating closely with our C-suite executives, you will help position SureCo as a leader in the employee benefits industry, sharing our insights and unique perspectives.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. This information will be used to create relevant and timely content that resonates with our target audience.
Create content to support our sales and operations teams as needed. Your work will help empower our teams and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Craft website and social media content to engage our audience and build brand awareness.
Contribute to email copy as needed, crafting messages that drive engagement and conversion.
Edit, fact check, and proofread content to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of all written materials. Your keen eye for detail will ensure our content is error-free and polished.
Implement conversion-driving techniques into content, aiming to guide readers deeper into SureCo's offerings and ultimately convert them into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality content.

What You'll Be Working On

Requirements

Proven experience as an editor and/or content marketing writer, preferably in the B2B insurance or employee benefits industry. You understand the unique challenges and nuances of this industry and are adept at crafting content that speaks to the target audience.
Excellent writing skills with a strong attention to detail. You have a knack for writing in a clear, concise, and engaging manner that resonates with the reader.
A solid understanding of SEO principles and the ability to create content that is optimized for search engines. You can leverage keywords effectively to improve organic visibility.
Ability to conduct research and analyze complex information to create informative and insightful content. Your research skills will be instrumental in crafting content that adds value and drives thought leadership.
Experience in creating downloadable guides, blog posts, and thought leadership articles. Your portfolio demonstrates your ability to create engaging and informative content across different formats.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You can juggle various assignments, prioritize effectively, and deliver results on time while maintaining quality.
Familiarity with content management systems and collaboration tools. You're comfortable working with tools that streamline content creation and enhance team collaboration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate ideas and feedback clearly.
