Business / Local Government Reporter

Are you interested in learning how your community works? Do you like to the bottom of a story and report the facts? The Newnan Times-Herald is currently searching for a new, community-focused reporter. Applicants should ideally have the ability to develop relationships with community leaders, and news sources. Candidates must be able to generate compelling and accurate content very quickly as well as have the ability to report on a wide range of subjects covered by our community newspaper. This position requires the ability to find and and write compelling, in-depth stories, and should have a work record that demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines. Applicants should be able to write basic news or breaking stories quickly as well as in-depth articles on a variety of topics.
