Communications Principal Associate, Public Affairs & Media Relations

Capital One is looking for an experienced and results-driven public relations professional to join a growing team of experts on our Public Affairs and Media Relations team. The Public Affairs Principal Associate will serve as part of the broader Corporate Reputation & Insight team, which manages external enterprise communications and works in close partnership with the company’s External Affairs group on policy advocacy, issues and crisis management, and strengthening the company’s reputation. This position reports to the co-lead of Public Affairs & Media Relations for Capital One. The hired associate will build and strengthen Capital One’s legacy Public Affairs function while managing a multifaceted portfolio that balances proactive campaign design and execution with rapid response and issues management.
