Caribbean Weekly Seeks Business Reporter

The BVI Beacon, a weekly newspaper in the British Virgin Islands, seeks a reporter to lead its business section and produce regular enterprise coverage on a wide range of topics, including the territory's financial services industry; the tourism sector's recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic; the ongoing recovery from Hurricane Irma; and the governance reforms being implemented following a recent inquiry and the arrest of the territory's then-premier in Miami. Responsibilities include planning coverage; reporting and writing business articles and in-depth investigations; taking photographs and videos; creating digital features; posting to a website and social media; and editing.
