Financial Writer

Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. has an opening for a Financial Writer in the Insights & Education department of the Digital Education, Channel, & Client Marketing Team. The Financial Writer will produce content for Schwab’s client-facing email newsletters, including occasional high-priority commentaries during periods of market turbulence. This role will also support editorial programs that address the unique needs of high-net-worth clients and prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have daily newsroom experience, be conversant in wealth management topics such as retirement, tax and estate planning, and be accustomed to writing on demand with frequent, set deadlines. They will be a versatile writer who can dig deeply into niche topics and craft compelling lighter reads. A deep understanding of financial markets, trading and investing is a plus.
