Communications Consultant

The Communications Consultant role supports UnitedHealthcare Government Programs internal communications activities, leveraging communications expertise, technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to support in the design and delivery of internal communication programs that are integrated with the business strategies and objectives. The goal of the internal communications team is to enhance the engagement of Community & State and Medicare & Retirement employees by helping them understand the mission and priorities of the business and how their work contributes to those priorities. The communications specialist will help support executive leadership in driving business growth, engaging employees and key stakeholders through strategic initiatives and programs and amplifying UHC’s story to drive business performance while protecting and enhancing our reputation. This position requires a communicator with exceptional writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple long-term and short-term projects at once. This position will work on a team responsible for executing tailored employee engagement initiatives to evolve our culture and deepen employees’ connection to our company, each other and their role in achieving our vision.
