Communications Coordinator

The University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering is seeking a Communications Coordinator to coordinate all communications-related activity for the Departments of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, and Fire Protection Engineering. Duties include but are not limited to: the design and production of semi-annual newsletters; the design and maintenance of the three Department websites; the design and production of collateral print materials; the writing and editing of news for the Department websites and newsletters; the production of news releases and related interaction with the media; assisting in the planning and execution of department sponsored special events; and other communications related duties as assigned. The coordinator is entrepreneurial in their work and readily collaborates with a variety of internal and external constituencies in a fast-paced environment.
