We’re looking for a creative, dynamic Finance Content Creator to commission, edit and publish news, analysis and explainers that clearly help Australian households make sense of financial products, government entitlements and money matters, and how they can help their household budgets.

You’ll be responsible for the curation and production of Compare Club Publishing content that supports the brand strategy and marketing objectives of Compare Club brands/mastheads.

About you

3+ years experience working either in journalism or with branded content, either in-house or as part of an agency
Excellent written skills
Great news sense to identify stories and angles for our content
Ability to take complex stories and distil them into easy-to-understand content
Exceptional attention to detail, and an audience-first mindset
Stakeholder management skills to ensure cross-team and senior management buy-in
Time management for sure, including adjusting to changing priorities and juggling multiple projects at once
Experience in copywriting, and managing freelancers and video and/or audio content would be an advantage
Analytics tools experience (Google Analytics, Tableau)
Understanding of content production and distribution across internal and external platforms
CMS management

Also desirable

Video, audio, or social media experience
SEO knowledge
Experience managing creative resources such as designers and freelance writers
Budget management
Technical web management and SEO skills
