Complexly makes educational videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. In partnership with ASU and Crash Course, we've launched a new YouTube channel called Study Hall. Study Hall focuses on helping students get through college whether that's by tackling commonly failed courses, by helping students understand what's involved in their major, or by generally navigating the unspoken expectations of the university system.

We're looking for a script editor to help shape the content for our Study Hall channel and projects. You'll work with writers and subject-matter experts to craft the clearest explanations and find the weird and inspiring kernels within a topic that help students learn through storytelling. With each script, our goal is to tap into a student's curiosity to learn in ways they might not experience in a traditional classroom. Being a strong communicator is important to convey concepts to our audience and collaborate with our experts and teams. You should be able to juggle multiple ongoing projects at once, meet deadlines, manage feedback regarding content accuracy, and research a variety of topics. Study Hall spans a wide variety of topics, so subject expertise isn't essential, but a passion to help others learn is.

You might be the right fit if you have:
- 5+ years combined experience professionally writing/editing and/or developing curricula
- Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with G-Suite including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms
- Previous experience with Airtable
- An insatiable desire to teach others

Location: Remote, US-based
Starting Salary Range: $52,700-62,000, DOE
Benefits Include: Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, 401k with 4% match upon the completion of 6 months of employment, LTD, Basic Life Insurance, paid week between Christmas and New Years off, company profit share
