The Role
The Director, Content Strategy & Growth will work closely with the VP, Content Strategy & Growth to execute on a cross-format content strategy across our global brands with direct oversight of our content planning team. This role will collaborate with the revenue teams and the wider company to steer content strategy based on data analytics to meet established business objectives, identify areas of opportunities and leverage our content in all formats to connect with our audience in meaningful ways.
This role is based in our London office and reports to the VP, Content Strategy & Growth.
What will you be doing?
The Director, Content Strategy & Growth, will manage our team of content planning managers who are responsible for content strategy and planning across our global brands.
Work closely with brand-embedded audience development resources to analyze data-driven reports and translate findings into brand voice.
Identifies growth opportunities for the brand and works with the brand team to develop execution plans.
Collaborates with brand experts to launch new editorial products, identifying gaps and deficiencies in content outputs across markets and platforms.
Tracks brand performance against established KPIs, interprets data reports to determine opportunities.
Who you are:
7-10 years of working experience in a digital media organization or a comparable media company.
3+ years of experience managing teams, preferably globally.
Strong quantitative skills used for monitoring and improving both systems and processes.
Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive towards a single goal.
Ability to tackle problems in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
Entrepreneurial nature with a strong ability to manage through ambiguity.
Proven ability to use data in order to evaluate team and tactic effectiveness.
Passionate, curious and willing to collaborate, test and learn.
