Omniscient Digital is a premium growth and content agency supporting major B2B software companies like Hotjar, Jasper, Order, 360Learning, Smartling, and more. Our work has been featured in HubSpot, Shopify, Zapier, Intercom, and CXL, and our playbooks and models are used by many of the top content marketing teams in the country. We’re hiring a Content Growth Strategist to lead client projects and produce organic growth strategies that drive real business results (e.g., traffic, conversions, and revenue). Alongside our Editorial team, your goal will be to give our clients a white-glove experience as you ideate, pitch, and consult on premium growth ideas that meet their business goals.
This is the perfect role for someone experienced in demand generation, content marketing, SEO, project management, and account management within an agency or in-house SaaS environment. We thrive on autonomy, giving you tremendous freedom to own and grow your role. If that kind of independence excites you, read on.
Your responsibilities
Our Content Growth Strategist is responsible for the following:
Learning each client's industry, business, product, and audience and applying this knowledge to demand generation and content strategy, auditing, project performance, and reporting/analysis
Digging into tactics and topics to support content growth plans for a portfolio of clients across multiple industries (primarily B2B SaaS) and working with our analysts to build out content roadmaps and briefs
Consulting on various growth marketing efforts — primarily SEO and content but could also be CRO, social, podcast, email, CVR, etc.
Working with our Editorial to bridge the gap between content and editorial strategy and ensuring clients receive the highest quality deliverables aligned with your strategic vision
Working with your Strategy counterparts to experiment with and fine-tune new strategies and tactics to bring our clients success
Ensuring that each experience with a client runs smoothly, seamlessly, and on schedule at all times
You'll have access to and be expected to use GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Clearscope, Notion, Airtable, and Slack.
Who you are
The type of person we're looking for:
You understand and are curious about business. While you’re an expert at content strategy, you also know that the goal of B2B content is to ultimately contribute to business goals. You understand and can effectively communicate how a successful content strategy translates to business metrics (e.g., sign-ups, leads, revenue, etc.).
You're experienced in SEO and content. You have 3-5 years of experience with SEO and content marketing. You can analyze a search engine results page (SERP) and provide guidance to help written content perform as intended.
You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats. This role embodies both Lead Strategist and Account Manager, a unique position compared to other agencies. You’ll serve as the “quarterback” for your portfolio — calling the shots, delegating to analysts, and rallying the team around a shared vision for each client.
You can think like a journalist. You lead with creativity and curiosity. You deal in facts and stats but appreciate opinions when relevant to content strategy.
You’re an independent worker and leader. You can set and achieve your own goals and communicate what you’re working on. You don't need or want to be managed (but you’re always eager to learn). You can ask for help but thrive in autonomy.
You’re adaptable. You're flexible and agile. You know things change and may not work out as planned, so you take a breath and do what needs to be done.
You’re organized and detail-oriented. You try to be as efficient as possible and always look for ways to improve how things are done. You can juggle multiple projects and responsibilities with multiple people at once. FYI, the passcode is ‘content rocks.’
You're a strong verbal and written communicator. You can clearly communicate nuanced and complex concepts and thoughts. You can also edit others’ work and provide constructive feedback.
You seek feedback. If you aren’t familiar with a new tool or don’t know how to apply a new tactic, you raise your hand and seek understanding to learn, grow, and improve your skills.
