Content Manager

Charley, the secure, anonymous abortion chatbot, seeks a Content Manager to implement updates to the bot’s script and logic. This is a 4-month contract position for an estimated average of 10 hours per week at a consulting rate of $100 per hour with no benefits provided. Work can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

DUTIES:

Collaborate with the Subject Matter Lead to determine priority updates to Charley’s script and logic, based on feedback from users and partner organizations

Draft new copy and edit existing copy in Charley’s script to align with feedback

Input content updates into online platforms (chatbot vendor and web content management system - training on these systems will be provided)

Participate in regular team meetings via Zoom to align with strategic priorities

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in abortion care or support (e.g., at a clinic, fund, advocacy organization, or other related role) and deep subject matter expertise of the abortion care ecosystem

Excellent writing skills a must; familiarity with best practices in health communications, behavior change communications, and health literacy highly desirable

Superb organization skills and attention to detail

Comfort with digital platforms and facility in learning new online systems

Commitment to ensuring abortion access for all people, especially in states with abortion bans or restrictions; familiarity with and support for self-managed abortion

Written proficiency in English and Spanish highly desirable
