We are in search of a contracted content writer with potential full-time role opportunities to assist in the creation, promotion, and dissemination of compelling thought leadership content, leveraging it across various communication channels. Your role will involve collaborating with subject matter experts to develop a range of content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, infographics, videos, and more. You will closely collaborate with teams including product marketing, PR, field and channel marketing, social media, and digital marketing to produce content aimed at raising awareness, generating demand, and enhancing the Critical Start brand.
What You Will Be Doing?
Produce high-quality and thought-provoking marketing materials in diverse formats, including presentations, whitepapers, e-books, web pages, research reports, blog posts, SEO articles, infographics, customer case studies, and more.
Craft compelling copy that instills confidence in our products and strengthens our brand.
Communicate with precision and clarity, carefully selecting words to convey the desired tone and impact.
Develop content tailored to specific customer personas and industry verticals.
Extract insights from analyst reports and other research sources to enrich your content.
Collaborate closely with Critical Start subject matter experts and executive leadership to create compelling messaging.
Establish and manage a content calendar, and keep our project management tool (Asana) updated with upcoming content projects.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support sales, marketing, PR, social media, product, and customer success initiatives while maintaining brand voice and consistency.
Define, monitor, and report key metrics to measure the success of content marketing efforts.
What You Will Bring?
Required Qualifications:
Content Writing: A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B and/or technology as a content writer or content marketing professional.
Copyediting: Proficiency in copyediting to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of written content.
Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and information.
Project Management: Project management skills to effectively organize and oversee content-related projects.
Industry Background: Prior experience in producing content assets specifically for the cybersecurity or IT sectors.
Tools: Familiarity with, or experience using, some of the following: WordPress, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Marketo, and Salesforce.
Educational Requirement: A Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
