How Is This Role Important to Our Work?
This position is responsible for creating relevant and compelling messaging for company-wide brand initiatives including a wide variety of materials and sales collateral. Build content published in digital and print channels and face-to-face communications. Assist in developing content library and engage teams on how to use content library and brand guidelines.
A Day In The Life
Develop messaging appropriate to audience and channel; write and edit a wide variety of content for a wide range of formats; apply brand voice consistently across all materials.
Partner with broader marketing and sales team to inform strategy and help implement effective broker, client and member communications.
Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure compelling presentation of content.
Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions; see opportunities to improve messaging.
Work under general guidance; seek guidance on more complex tasks.
Prioritize and organize own work to meet timelines.
Assist in developing content rules and templates.
Assist sales team in answering Prospective Clients' RFP questions using a content library and other resources (as needed)
Serve as a resource to team and cross functional partners.
Participate in cross functional projects as contributor and voice of the brand.
Contribute to creating an engaged, inclusive team environment.
Assist in online and digital efforts for the website while managing content for SEO purposes.
Nice To Have
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or journalism.
Ability to translate complex subject matter into consumer language.
Track record of being an integral member of a cross-functional marketing team.
Required Skills And Experiences
3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Knows and applies the fundamental concepts of copywriting.
Expert knowledge of a content writing and intermediate understanding of brand standards, visual communications, production, creative, business and strategic principles, to ensure alignment with strategy.
Ability to communicate clearly and optimally; strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize projects and juggle changing priorities while working under tight timelines
Proven personal computer skills in the use of a suite of software tools (such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and project management tools!
