The salary range for this role is £31,000 to £34,000

The role

The Content writer is responsible for producing high-quality, inspiring content around the travel theme to promote the Audley brand and its destinations, for a range of marketing channels and wider business needs. The Content writer will work under the guidance of the Content team leader to ensure that content is on brand, adheres to the house style, and (for digital content) follows SEO strategy.

Responsibilities include:

Working with our Regional Product Managers and colleagues from Digital & Marketing, you will write new content or improve existing content, for various online and offline marketing platforms, including:the Audley website
Audley’s Traveller magazine
the Audley brochure, The World Your Way
a variety of direct mail to support campaign and partnership activities
email marketing

This will involve setting up and conducting interviews with Country Specialists for source material and turning their words into inspiring content that reflects our expert, first-hand knowledge, using best-practice content marketing.

About you

You will have strong experience of writing online and/or offline content and the ability to work to deadlines and turn around content quickly while maintaining high standards of quality. Your excellent time management will allow you to handle a rolling schedule of concurrent briefs.

Additional experience required:Excellent written English, spelling and grammar
Very high levels of attention to detail
An understanding of what makes high-quality content, driven by where it sits in the client journey
The ability to work within a defined brief and to the company style guide while being able to hit the ground running and work self-sufficiently
Proven experience of content production for a consumer-facing company, preferably in the travel industry
Competency in Microsoft Office
