Content Writer

North Property Group is an award-winning market leader in UK property investment. Since 2017 we have successfully built a reputation for delivering exciting and profitable developments in the buy-to-let sector to investors in the UK and across the globe. As a result of our continued success, we are expanding our marketing team in our Manchester office.

We are looking for an experienced content writer, who can produce engaging and well written articles, to support our SEO strategy.

Job Duties:

Research industry-related topics (combining online resources, reports and studies)
Prepare well-structured drafts using CMS (WordPress)
Write and edit blogs about property investments, UK information and business updates
Proofread and edit blog/ social media posts before publication
Support the team in creating content across the business, including but not limited to advertising copywriting, investment guides, email campaigns, website content, business proposals, presentations and etc.
Conduct simple keywords research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Help to confidently present topical videos on our YouTube channel (Willing for clips from said videos to be posted on our social media accounts)
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Bonus point: Experienced in PR articles and media relations

Skills:

Ability to research and write about complex topics in an accurate, accessible and compelling way
Ability to use content management system, collaboration tools and audience insight tools
Good organisation skills with the ability to maintain schedules and meet deadlines
⁠Comfortable and confident with being on camera
A positive team player and clear communicator, capable of liaising with various teams and functions across the business

Qualifications:

2 years+ content writing experience preferred
Degree in English/ English Literature/ Journalism or related field
Proven work experience as content writer, copy writer or similar role
Portfolio of published articles
Excellent writing skills in English
Good knowledge of SEO

Salary: £25,000.00 per year
