Position Summary:

Ergo Test Prep is seeking a talented and dedicated Content Writer to produce high-quality, informative, and engaging content that aligns with our brand's mission and values. This individual will play a crucial role in developing study materials, blog posts, student resources, and promotional content that not only showcases our expertise but also helps students succeed in their academic endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:

- Draft and edit a range of content, including study guides, practice questions, blog posts, articles, and newsletters.

- Collaborate with our team of educators and tutors to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of the content produced.

- Regularly update existing content to reflect any changes in test formats, guidelines, or educational trends.

2. Brand Alignment:

- Ensure that all content produced is consistent with Ergo Test Prep's brand voice, style, and values.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content supports and enhances promotional campaigns and outreach efforts.

3. Research:

- Stay updated with the latest trends in pre-college and post-college test preparation.

- Conduct research to identify gaps in our current content and propose new topics or areas of focus.

4. Feedback Integration:

- Work closely with our feedback team to incorporate student and tutor feedback into content improvements.

- Regularly assess content effectiveness through performance metrics and make necessary adjustments.

5. Team Collaboration:

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, tech) to enhance the overall student experience.

- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in content writing, preferably in the education sector.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong research and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with content management systems.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- An understanding of the pre-college and post-college test preparation landscape is a plus.
