Content Writer

New Posted 21 December 2023 | Royal Leamington Spa, England, United Kingdom | deeply digital

If you enjoy telling B2B brand stories, digging into product and application and taking time to work with subject matter experts in a wide variety of industries, this is your role.

Curiosity is at the heart of everything we do: trying new things, to discover a fresh angle and help our customers find exciting ways to share what they’re doing with the world.

The agency you'd be joining is almost entirely digital and works with complex B2B sales and marketing clients (technology, software, business services, manufacturing).

What's the role

The role is to create content, plan and handle content marketing campaign delivery, talk to

clients and work in a team.

We are looking for someone who will:

Write the content required to support client campaigns and marketing activities, ensuring content has a competitive edge and can cut through the noise. Formats will include (but are not limited to) long-form content (e.g. eBooks), blog posts, social media posts, ad copy, emails, landing/website pages, video scripts and interview questions.
Manage client accounts by liaising with clients to understand their requirements, ensuring activities maintain focus on the priorities and projects remain on track.
Support content strategy by liaising with clients, planning and running briefing sessions, contributing to creative ideas and giving strategic advice and guidance on content strategy
Work with colleagues on the creative approach to campaigns and ensure the right content and promotional plans are in place.
Communicate and interview clients to gather inputs and insight for content development.
Communicate with the internal 'resourcing team' so they can make informed decisions on client resourcing requirements.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, design and development teams to ensure smooth implementation of campaign creative.
Coordinate and manage requirements for all assigned projects, campaigns and clients, adhering to our processes with Asana and Toggl.
Maintain a reasonable level of HubSpot skills, including completing the Deeply Digital HubSpot training programme.

Who are you:

The person we're looking for will have at least three years of experience, be fluent in writing for B2B content, be a team player, and be confident and open to learning.

Agency or client experience are both okay: B2B experience is essential. Knowledge of HubSpot products and technologies is a definite advantage.

You'll be a natural 'get-stuff-done' type of person, happiest when you're being hands-on and confident in conversing about content, marketing technology and trends with clients and co-workers.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate most, if not all, of the following attributes:

3+ years experience working in a similar role (Content Writing) with experience leading strategic content decisions
Proven B2B tech writing skills with ideally a portfolio of work
Previous experience working with HubSpot (or other marketing platforms) for hands-on campaign execution
Excellent client-handling skills
Ability to learn the Deeply Digital service offerings and processes and be prepared to follow existing ways of working
Proven track record in maintaining high levels of service in a fast-moving environment and maintaining multiple deadlines and priorities
The ability to set and meet targets, deadlines and budget(s), and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining high-quality standards
Experience in projects and teams with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as listening skills
Excellent attention to detail, organisation skills and problem-solving skills
IT literate, proficient in Google Drive packages/HubSpot software
Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently or under their initiative
Willing to undertake training to support the position.
