Copy Editor

The Aiken Standard, a locally-focused, family-owned newspaper in Aiken, S.C., is seeking a copy editor with a keen eye for clean newspaper copy and well-designed newspaper pages. The applicant should be willing to work evenings, have a prior knowledge of newspaper design fundamentals and a strong understanding of news writing. A college degree in journalism or similar field and a proficiency with AP Style are preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
