Copywriter, B2B Marketing

At Tutored by Teachers, we believe that when you put a teacher in front of a student, magic happens. Backed by some of the biggest names in EdTech including GSV, A-Street Ventures, and TMV, we are on a mission to close the opportunity gap and need a talented Copywriter Contractor to craft and manage high-quality content across various company functions, including Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales. The role demands creativity and the ability to produce engaging and effective content that aligns with the brand's voice and tone with a focus on our outcomes and mission statement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and write high-quality content for the company's website, blog, social media, and emails, supporting acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.
Create compelling case studies and thought leadership articles.
Contribute to the development and iteration of the company's voice and tone.
Write copy for marketing materials like sales collateral, brochures, and presentations, maintaining brand consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with business objectives.
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand standards.
Stay informed about industry trends and integrate insights into content.
Manage multiple projects and external resources to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Proven ability to adapt writing style to fit a simple, accessible, and engaging brand voice.
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in copywriting and content creation.
Demonstrated skill in writing across various channels and formats.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
Strong project management skills and capability to work in a dynamic environment.
Effective collaboration skills and ability to take constructive feedback.
Proficiency in Google Suite, and other marketing tools (WordPress, Marketo, Salesforce).
Prior experience in the K-12 education sector is a plus.
