We have a new opportunity for a Copywriter to join the English & Crystal Brands Business Unit (BU) working with iconic brands such as Wedgwood, Waterford, Royal Doulton and Royal Albert.

In your role you will support the business in creatively writing copy in close collaboration with Marketing, Design and Merchandising across all digital and print touchpoints. You will bring your understanding of luxury brand positioning and ability to adapt your tone of voice to complete projects across the business.

The Copywriter will play a crucial role, contributing to the repositioning of Wedgwood and Waterford into luxury lifestyle brands, together with accessible brands Royal Doulton and Royal Albert.

Key Responsibilities

Copywriting and visual content creation for different digital and print touchpoints

Create user-friendly, engaging, and timely content which is reflecting the brand’s tone of voice, drives conversion and follows channel best practices i.e. newsletters, articles, emails, eCommerce, product descriptions, socials and paid media copy.

Translating creative concepts to engaging experiences on different digital touchpoints based on briefs

Develop the UX and SEO opportunities to increase conversion
Creating engaging copy content for our digital and print touchpoints

Track performance analytics to optimize copy/content

Individual responsibilities

Making sure content is aligned with brand tone of voice
Ensure aligned messaging across platforms and touchpoints

With Ecom and Home market marketing

Ensure content meets campaigns objectives
Create timely product copy

With design

Making sure written content is aligned with brand design (packaging etc.)

With the Art Director

Ensure copy is signed off in line with brand TOV and direction

Travelling to applicable countries is possible

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

About you, our perfect candidate will have the following experience & knowledge:

3+ years industry experience in a role with similar responsibilities
Experience in writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
Experience in producing creative and conceptual work, from one-off pieces to campaign thinking
Experience writing copy across diverse formats: editorial copy, email copy, product copy, social media
Experience writing long and short copy, and in report writing and editing
Experience in optimising for SEO and SEO copywriting best practices
You should have the ability to write and adjust your tone to reflect the brand and the different global audiences
