Main Responsibilities
Creating compelling copy that's engaging, relevant and simple for customers in Handelsbanken's distinctive tone of voice.
Managing the delivery of new operational communications and refining existing communications based on internal and external testing and feedback.
Working closely with a range of stakeholders to deliver communications, including subject matter experts, legal and compliance experts, in-house designers; for a range of systems.
Working with cross-functional teams to deliver communications that enhance the whole customer journey
Working in different formats and channels, both digitally and offline.
Part of a team looking to ensure our customers' communications experience is supportive and effective from start to finish.
Ensuring that the communications meet our regulations requirements, in particular Consumer Duty
Ideal Candidate
Strong experience in copywriting, including writing operational communications, including physical, such as letters, leaflets and application forms, and emails/web copy
The ability to step into the shoes of the customer, cut through the jargon and make the complex simple
Experience in managing communications across a customer journey, providing a strategic view and looking at the overall experience for the customer
Working with regulated communications, e.g. financial promotions, consumer understanding/consumer duty
Experience in banking, finance-related or experience in a regulated environment
A strong education history, to 2:1 at degree level (or equivalent)
An ability to write copy in an engaging, accessible style and excellent proof reading/reviewing skills, and the ability to review existing copy to ensure clarity, understanding and compliance with regulations.
Comfortable with working with briefs, and being able to distil what matters
Confidence in managing a range of stakeholders, being collaborative and flexible but equipped to influence and persuade where necessary
A proactive, can-do attitude
The ability to prioritise and manage workload, working on a range of projects at the same time, delivering when promised.
An ability to think creatively to deliver solutions that work for stakeholders and the brand
Be able to work successfully as part of a team
Strong knowledge of Word, Adobe, Excel. Use of Jira and Confluence an advantage
