The role
The copywriter sits within the global social and content team and is responsible for maintaining brand tone of voice across all online and offline channels as well as delivering all copywriting content needs across the marketing team; email, web, social, PR, packaging, 3rd party web.
This role is 3 days a week, ideally you will be able to come to the Office 2 days a week.
In this role you’ll get to:
Lead copy for all points in the Tangle Teezer customer journey – from brand campaigns to product pages focusing on increased brand personality
Liaise with the SEO agency, the Senior Ecommerce Manager and the Senior Social Media and Creative Project Manager to manage the editorial calendar for Tangle Teezer; deciding themes, writing copy and reaching out to our experts & pro ambassadors for insights & interviews.
Be responsible for updating and evolving the brand’s copy guidelines for new product launches and brand initiatives.
Liaise with the UK and US marketing leads for their third-party trade marketing copy needs including brand pages, product pages, web banners.
Work closely with the Social Media Manager writing copy for our organic and social media channels, including Instagram, YouTube & LinkedIn.
Create copy for offline channels including POS & OOH.
Work with the NPD team to develop copy across product claims, product names, packaging, customer care and owning the legal and regulatory check process for all creative copy.
Write copy for campaign messaging and copy hierarchy alongside the content and marketing teams.
Write copy for UK and US press releases.
What we are looking for in you:

Extensive copywriting experience writing copy across multiple channels
Proven editorial and storytelling skills.
An ambitious self-starter with a real ‘can do’ attitude
Experience creating, applying and maintaining brand TOV.
Strong understanding of how to implement a SEO strategy.
Experience working with legal claims and working with legal approval.
Used to working cross-functionally with different departments including marketing, content, social & e-com.
A curious awareness of trends to provide unique and creative solutions to reach current and new audiences
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to react quickly to the changing business needs
Strong understanding and experience of the social media world and its platforms as well as social media management as a bonus
Experience within the beauty industry is great but not mandatory
Experience at both client and agency side would be an advantage
