The Abercrombie & Fitch Co EMEA Copywriter will focus on the localisation of Abercrombie and Hollister brand voices in Europe, with a focus on the UK market. They will be responsible for the creation of engaging on-brand language to appear in various channels, both digital and print. Successful candidates will have a passion for our brands, an in-depth knowledge of the fashion industry & retail trends and a compelling POV on brand voice dynamics. All Abercrombie & Fitch Co. copywriters must possess near-perfect editing & grammar skills and be able to write copy that has a clear point of view and a recognisable voice. The ideal applicant is curious, optimistic and highly collaborative.
What Will You Be Doing?
Establish a nuanced UK tone of voice, that will resonate with our Gen-Z and Millennial target
Actively identify opportunities to enhance Abercrombie & Fitch Co's copywriting by staying informed about emerging fashion trends, terminology and popular culture in Europe, among the Millennial and Gen Z targets
Partner with the GHO copy team to concept and write engaging, dynamic seasonal campaigns for both A&F and Hollister, differentiating copy by region
Help concept and localise all seasonal brand style guides and copy in collaboration with the global copy, photo & design teams
Help with special projects and ad hoc seasonal marketing requests (store pop-up needs, signage, etc.
Edit and optimise global marketing assets for a UK audience and project manage regional copy requests
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in English, Creative Writing or Advertising/Copywriting, or related experience
Minimum 4 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably for a fashion retail or beauty brand
Near-perfect editing skills, spelling, grammar and syntax
A strong and ongoing interest in fashion, including an understanding of our competitors and the retail landscape in Europe
Excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both local and remote teams
The ability to provide, receive and execute feedback under accelerated deadlines and shifting deliverables
Experienced knowledge in Microsoft Office
