As the Creative Copywriter you will join the team in a brand new role your role will be to provide high-quality, accurate and optimised content which reflect the brand personality and positioning. The content must be relevant to the brand portfolio, engage the target customer with a clear call to action, adhere to legal requirements and be search engine optimisation compliant. To develop, manage and update both functional and inspirational copy in line with business needs.

As the Creative Copywriter you will:

Manage all copywriting needs for the business
Feed all business channels and media with the required outputs.
Manage tight and demanding deadlines, including packaging, web, social media, and customer facing literature
Update and revisit copy for existing articles where necessary to ensure that it meets brand values, personality and category direction
Be responsible for high quality, compelling, persuasive and accurate content that reflects brand personality and positioning. Content to be relevant to the brand portfolio, engage our target customer with a clear call to action, adhere to legal requirements and be SEO compliant.
Establish and adhere to guidelines of an agreed tone of voice and precedence at both category and article level
Work alongside marketing, buying, NPD, web design, on-line merchandising and photography studio, to ensure all key stakeholder needs are met
Understand the importance of and work closely alongside SEO and PR agencies and any other external influencers
Work alongside the Studio Coordinator to create an annual plan of requirements, with weekly schedules that are visible to the business, ensuring a smooth workflow without compromising business critical projects
Contribute to the evolvement of rich data & content for the web, working towards a user friendly asset management system where copy and imagery are co joined in a future proofed and sustainable system for the business
Manage and proof the accuracy of data to ensure that all content is accurate and has been signed off by the relevant internal departments, making amends where necessary
Review copy post launch, resolve amendments that are required and to escalate error logs where appropriate to all stakeholders
