The role covers both internal communications and driving great impact and endorsement from staff, as well as external communications, working closely with the media and on communications with clients. The individual will also support and develop the profile of some of the bank’s key businesses and products including Investment Banking and Capital Markets, Private Banking and Equities/Markets. You will be responsible for the day‐to‐day liaison/management of media relations for the above areas and for maintaining an active, ongoing dialogue with both media and internal clients in order to provide the best media opportunities to promote the Credit Suisse franchise. He/she will also, in conjunction with Senior Management, be responsible for developing the communications strategies that employ innovative and successful tools that seek to engage and educate internal and external business partners about Credit Suisse in China. The individual must also be able, from time to time, to handle issues and reputational risk matters with the aim of minimizing, mitigating or preventing negative perceptions being reflected in the media.
