As Assistant Editor of Decanter Premium, which is Decanter’s digital paywall proposition, you'll work closely with the Premium Editor and the wider editorial content team to run the day-to-day content operations of Decanter Premium. You’ll have excellent wine knowledge to accompany first-rate digital editorial skills, enabling you to develop and execute authoritative content strategies that true wine connoisseurs value and are able to make confident purchasing decisions from.
You’ll be working closely with our digital subscriptions team, our brand advertising team, the wider Decanter content team and our technology specialists to continue Decanter’s digital development and grow revenues. Driving digital subscriptions is the key focus for this role.
Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve…
Understanding of the brand’s subject matter and associated audiences.
Expert knowledge of the sector, and the relevant trends and products that will be of interest to Decanter’s readers.
WSET qualified to Level 3 or similar.
Excellent attention to detail, grammar and writing skills - journalism qualification advantageous.
Experience of digital paywalls - preferable but not essential.
A strong grasp of SEO and familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Strong knowledge of digital content creation and associated tech platforms.
