We're now looking for a Social Media Editor to cover all social media activity across all our channels, including editorial (print and online), events, sales and awards. You'll work closely with the Decanter.com Editor and the Premium, Events and Awards Marketing Managers to plan and run the day-to-day social media operations of the brand, maintaining consistency in brand tone, image, and style across all platforms.

What you’ll be doing

As Social Media Editor at Decanter, you'll be developing a social media strategy to solidify Decanter’s status as the premier wine media brand, ensuring we drive referral traffic from social media to the relevant brand channels, monitoring and measuring KPIs and engagement levels to check the effectiveness of our social media strategy and producing engaging and eye-catching posts from all channels, maintaining consistency in brand tone, image, and style across all platforms.

You'll be driving growth of engagement across all platforms, particularly Instagram and Facebook, reviewing and addressing comments and responses from consumers on social media, staying familiar with current consumer trends and new social networks and tools and coming up with innovative content ideas.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

Understanding of the brand’s subject matter and associated audiences.
Experience of working in a high powered social media role and the ability to show an understanding of content production and process.
Experience with social video.
WSET qualified to Level 2 or similar.
Familiarity with analytics tools and paid-for social media campaign dashboards.
Creative flair, and the ability to combine this with a deep knowledge of social media to come up with deliverable ideas.
