Dexerto is looking for a passionate and experienced Newsletter Editor to join the team remotely, with exceptional writing and planning skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing entertainment networks in the world, helping us provide our readers with expert insights, guides, and deals via email.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the content Dexerto produces across editorial, video, and social media. They will also be responsible for the quality and delivery of all newsletters we publish.

In collaboration with editors, the Newsletter Editor will apply their knowledge of Gaming, TV & Movies, Tech, and wider entertainment, to deliver high quality content for our growing mailing list. We are looking for someone who is able to take responsibility and shape our newsletter content and delivery!

They will also have the knowledge and understanding of how we can maximise newsletter exposure, successfully editorialising our content offerings into a style people want to click in their inboxes.

We’re looking for somebody who will thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment. They will be tasked with proactively co-ordinating newsletter efforts around the biggest releases on the calendar for various topics we cover.

This will involve producing high-quality writing to strict deadlines. The role also requires excellent attention to detail, as well as strong communication and planning skills.

As part of the Editorial Growth Team, you will also play a leading role in tracking the performance of our letters and growing the audience, in conjunction with other teams.

Experience with newsletter software, analytics tools, and writing for a professional audience is essential. Those who have a lot of experience writing similar B2B content and are looking for a route into the Gaming/Entertainment industry are also encouraged to apply.

REQUIREMENTS

Education in editorial or marketing
3+ years of experience writing a newsletter or similar professional content
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Excellent planning and coordination skills
Fantastic writing, editing and proofreading skills
Knowledge or willingness to learn about analytics software: Google Analytics etc
Experience using newsletter software
Multi-tasker
Passion for entertainment, including gaming and TV and Movies
Computer equipment to work remotely
Works well in a fast-paced environment
