TV and Movies Writer

Dexerto is looking for a TV & Movies Writer to join the team. We are particularly interested in someone who can cover Yellowstone amongst a variety of other shows.

Your main task will be to write and update compelling content about TV and movies. On top of covering the biggest news stories of the day, you will utilize data provided by our Evergreen Editor and SEO Manager to optimize articles for specific keywords while working with our editors to ensure content is of a high standard.

As well as Yellowstone, you would need to have knowledge of a broad range of popular and trending shows and movies. From Walking Dead to Dr Who, Star Trek to Fallout, we will continue to cover the biggest and best TV and Movies in 2024.

Requirements:

Understanding and knowledge of the TV and Movies landscape
Good writing skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
SEO knowledge
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail – able to spot grammatical errors and formatting mistakes
Great communication skills – able to take instruction and keep various members of the team updated on progress
Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop or similar programs
Able to work full-time hours (40) without other education or job commitments
Experience with Google Sheets and content management systems

You will be paid from £22,000 a year.
