How does being at the sharp end of the transition to net zero sound? We’re after a couple of Digital Communications Managers that can help us to tell our sustainability story across web and social channels.
You will be looking to take the next step in your career and will be unphased by joining one of the country’s busiest and most high-profile Corporate Affairs teams. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of Centrica’s corporate social media content, running your own campaigns and taking a lead on issues management. Your role will involve bringing to life our financial calendar, our diversity and inclusion agenda and our net zero ambitions. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a history of people led communication skills, that have had a quantifiable impact within the organisation you work for. You will have had some real hands-on experience in digital communications in a corporate environment. Naturally, you will need a great eye for a story as well an interest in the trends and development of digital communications so that we can stay a leader in this space. As well as being able to tell our story effectively, you’ll also be able to spot potential risks and issues that may be reputationally damaging – before they can develop into media stories. Reporting to the Head of Digital Communications you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of Centrica’s corporate social media content, running your own campaigns and taking a lead on issues management.
